Assalamu alaikum.
1.The grand mother with the abused has gone back to the village and has repaired the house with the donations we got and has rented it out; some villagers came forward to give her protection. Children are schooling. The daughter still has not comeback.
2. Widow with paralyzed son has got help for physio therapy thanks to sponsorship of a brother, may Allah bless him. We are giving Rs. 5000/= per month.
3. As for orphans' education 8 more students got sponsorship of Rs. 1000/= per month. We have 65re
students waiting for sponsors of Rs. 1000/= per month. Please help even for
three months.
4 As for the reverts 15 packs were sponsored so far. Already given to the reverts. More and more are showing willingness thanks to the efforts of HIRA and their mobile library.
5. the training center for the revert sisters is being sponsored totally by a brother who wants to remain anonymous. It will be conducted at the upstairs of Almuslimaath office and it will also double as the vocational training center for the single mothers and even poor ladies. The brother will pay for the rent, equipments and the teachers, ma sha Allah.
6. Appeals for 2 youth form valaichenai – only the heart patient received Rs. 25,000 though he needs the balance too for the surgery.
7. Mother with two kids whose husband was after a coma received settlement of her loans of Rs. 150,000, got the sucker, help for daily expenses and a wheel chair too. Some more money is being pledged until she can get back to work. This is the one brother Abdul Barrie visited personally.
8. Father needing prosthesis will be coming to Colombo next week to get the prosthesis done as he has collected altogether Rs. 120,000 and a donor has come forward to spend for the balance.

9.We did qurban during hajj month for Rs. 2,428,000 and distributed the meat all over the island.
10 We got Rs. 235,000 worth of donations for School books for the poor children. We are distributing them to both Muslims and non Muslims – schools and individuals.
11. As for blankets still we re receiving money for the blankets. There was a gentleman from a textile factory offering them warm clothes.
Some of the appeals were over subscribed. So with the donors' approval we also helped
1. A convert's house rental advance paid.
During these appeals we also got offers to
1.Repair all the toilets of Kottahene Muslim Maha Vidyalaya , costing about Rs. 3,50,000 , and give shoes and school bags to the children of this school.
2. to build a house worth of Rs. 100,000 for a widow who has three daughters.
3. Treat a shoulder joint problem of a polio affected mechanic surgery being worth of Rs. 68,000/=
Meanwhile the social service department has recognised our organisation as one that is fit enough to take over the responsibility of rehabilitating the young girls who have no place to go. We received one such young girl who is now following our ummul mu'mineen course. We will need someone to sponsor her food and studies, which will cost Rs. 31,500 for 4 months.
Did not get any used computer monitors. Anyone would like to help by donating used computers in good condition – even P1 are ok as far as they are in working condition?
